Three Trips

My Three Trips design was a project for my Information Design course. The teacher asked me to create a design that shows three separate trips: a trip from my apartment in Boston to Ryder Hall (the art and design building at Northeastern), a trip from my apartment in Boston to my home in Los Angeles, and a trip from my apartment in Boston to a place, overseas, of my choosing. For my third destination, I chose Buenos Aires, Argentina, where my father is from.

I had to find a way to show as much as I could about these three separate trips without making it too complex. My teacher wanted me to show as many aspects of my journey as possible. In my design, I have chosen to show vector images of different location I pass on my way to these various locations as well as what I eat, what music I am listening to, and my method of transportation. I decided to use bagel charts to represent my plane rides so I could not only show the full length of the plane ride but also show what I do while I am on the plane.

Aside from logos, all of the vector art is original, designed in Illustrator.
